Dr. Mark E. Hewlett

D.M.D

Dr. Mark Hewlett graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree, which he followed up by attending the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, graduating in 1986 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). After graduation, Dr. Hewlett spent nine years in the United States Army Dental Corps. He was stationed in the U.S. and abroad. In 1996, Dr. Hewlett, with his wife Nancy and their then two small children, moved to Shelbyville and established Hewlett Family Dental.


Dr. Hewlett is passionate about dentistry and the oral health of his patients. He loves his profession and how it allows him to get to know his patients and help them on a daily basis. Dr. Hewlett enjoys golfing in his free time and hopes to one day get good at it!

Dr. Stephen Hewlett graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011. He then returned to the Bluegrass state to attend the University of Kentucky for graduate school, followed by dental school in the UK, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2019. Having grown up in Shelbyville, he is excited to return home and deliver excellent dental care for his community. Dr. Hewlett enjoys getting to know each patient and is driven to deliver personalized, high-quality, modern dental services for each individual. In his free time, Dr. Hewlett enjoys cooking, going to the movies, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
